Description Grzegorz jaskiewicz 2005-01-26 05:21:36 UTC
Distribution: PLD linux
Hardware Environment: ultra5 sparc
Software Environment: gcc 3.4.2
Problem Description:
Mouse doesn't work unless I'll plug it off for some time, and plug back, reload
modules.
It does work than afterwards, even after reboot, with no need to replug the
mouse. Guess that must be something is triggered in hardware that wasn't
before.
IN 2.4 kernels there was separate driver for sun mouse, now everything is
incorporated into sermouse.

Steps to reproduce:
insert:
sermouse, psmouse, sunsab. Turn off computer. Wait a bit and turn on.
on boot mouse won't work, unless you replug it.
works fine afterwards if you just softboot (for instance via stop-A and boot).

Is this problem still present in kernel 2.6.13?
Comment 2 Adrian Bunk 2006-04-22 05:45:28 UTC
I'm assuming this issue is already fixed in recent 2.6 kernels.

Please reopen this bug if it's still present in kernel 2.6.16.
