This entry is being used for tracking a regression from 2.6.38. Please don't
close it until the problem is fixed in the mainline.

Does the attached patch fix the problem?  The patch is already merged to Linus' tree.

The revert mentioned in comment #1 has been merged for 2.6.39 (final release).
