This entry is being used for tracking a regression from 2.6.38. Please don't
close it until the problem is fixed in the mainline.

I believe that this issue and #33412 are related.

These patches resolve the issue that I originally saw.

Fixed by commits:
7c88a16 (block: don't propagate unlisted DISK_EVENTs to userland)
facc31d (block: Don't implicitly trigger event check on disk_unblock_events()).
