Problem Description: 
	S3trio is not ported to new framebuffer (2.6), it's the same code from 
2.4 and doesn't even compiles.

I have the hardware, but it's on a Pentium 166 machine. When I have the time,
I'll port the driver to 2.6

Well, someone recently asked in the fbdev-devel list that he was assigned to
write a driver for this chipset.  I'll wait on the outcome of that first :-).

It looks like the driver has been ported (commit a268422de8bf1b4c0cb97987b6c329c9f6a3da4b) 
The issue can be closed, correct?
