Description John Belmonte 2004-05-29 07:25:47 UTC
Distribution: Debian testing
Hardware Environment: Toshiba Libretto L5
Software Environment: XFree86 4.4.0
Problem Description: Within X windows (i.e., keyboard raw mode), when I hit
caps lock to toggle from upper to lower case, if I hit an alpha key
immediately after that, it will still be upper case. Later alpha keys will
correctly be lower case. I have to hit the alpha key within a few tenths of a
second of the caps lock to make this happen. There is no inverse symptom when
toggling from lower to upper case. The symptom does not appear on the
console.

On tlinux-users, an owner of a different Toshiba laptop has reported the same
problem.

How about recent kernels/Xorg, is it working now?
Thanks.
