This entry is being used for tracking a regression from 2.6.36. Please don't
close it until the problem is fixed in the mainline.

I identified the problem over the weekend using a bisection and Chris and I worked out a patch. I am waiting for this to show up:

The patch has been included in a pull request to Linus via airlied/drm-fixes.
