Distribution: Gentoo
Hardware Environment: AMD Athlon 4 1200 mhz
Software Environment: Gnome 2.4.2, Xfree 4.3.0, gcc 3.3.2, glibc 2.3.2
Problem Description: When I connect my Verbatim 128 meg USB key, I get timeout
on ep0in and after, I get buffer I/O error on sda1. My USB work fine till
2.6.0-test9 and work fine with all the 2.4.x series.

Steps to reproduce: Plug the usb key
Copy some data
Wait
Check the error log and cannot acces the usb key anymore

This is the portion of the log file for my usb and scsi problem. My kernel is
not tainted by any module

Is this problem still present in kernel 2.6.12.2?

I'm assuming this issue is already fixed.

Please reopen this bug if it's still present in recent 2.6 kernels.
