Description Stijn Tintel 2016-11-03 06:39:27 UTC
Since commit 73dea4a912b2 ("usb: chipidea: usbmisc_imx: delete clock information"), the ci_hdrc_imx hard locks the UDOO SoC.

The problem is explained in detail here: https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/6652681/

It seems like the discussion about this problem silently died, yet the problem still exists. Because of this, it's not possible to use USB at all on UDOO boards with recent kernels.

Please implement a fix or workaround.

Seems this is a dead end, like the patchwork link. I'll just close this and throw the UDOOs in the trash.
