Created attachment 25278 [details] Output of "alsa-info.sh --no-upload" There is no sound from the headphones and the internal microphone doesn't record. The internal speakers however are working. This seems to be a problem with the Realtek ALC887 Codec and the snd-hda-intel module. When playing with the ALSA Mixer settings there is a control for the front speakers and for the headphones, but both are connected to the sound coming from the front speakers. Please find attached the output of the alsa-info.sh and some hardware information. #options snd-hda-intel model=asus also doesn't fix the problem.
Does the problem still exist with 3.12 kernel?
