No.  This does not look like Alexey's commit.

The check that is firing is really just a check to see
if the proc_handler pointer is set.  The test comes back NULL
and we fail.

The only way I can see this happening is if the kernel was built with
proc support and the modules which were loaded later were not.

The test is firing on everything and on entries that are very much
not in error.

This what happens on PROC_SYSCTL=n kernels. I'll send a patch shortly.
