Created attachment 21796 [details] lspci, acpidump, and dmesg issues. I am having issues getting the thermal and battery detection working. The EC is not completely detected and working with ACPI. I have attached the dmesg, lspci, and ACPIDUMP to this bug.
This issue is also found in the 2.6.29 kernel as well.
I confirm this defect. I'm willing to help. Please let me know if I can be of any help
Steven, please add files individually next time, thanks. Information in ECDT is wrong, ports for command and data are switched. There should be workaround for this in 2.6.30 kernel, could you check that? Please provide dmidecode.
Created attachment 21939 [details] Make ECDT check more general Here is a patch for 2.6.28, please check if it helps.
