Hi Rafael,

May you try the last version of the gspca driver at LinuxTv.org?
(look at http://moinejf.free.fr for more information)

Sorry, but I didn't find the gspca driver to download in this website. Can you please give me the url?

Thanks

Comment 4 Rafael Gomes 2009-01-11 16:09:21 UTC
I tried, but didn't work too
Comment 5 Jean-Francois Moine 2009-01-12 00:58:17 UTC
Did you try to change the color, blue and red balance (with v4l2ucp)?

Also, may you send me (directly) the gspca and sonixj messages from the
kernel log? (do:
    grep 'gspca\|sonix' /var/log/syslog
)

Comment 8 Rafael Gomes 2009-03-29 03:33:39 UTC
I tried find the correct drive with v4l2-tool and I got this return:

Entered USB ID's of a webcam is NOT supported by neither uvcvideo nor gspca drivers

When I try use my webcam, I get this mens in messages:

Mar 29 00:28:55 localhost kernel: gspca: probing 0c45:612a
Mar 29 00:28:55 localhost kernel: sonixj: Sonix chip id: 12
Mar 29 00:28:55 localhost kernel: gspca: probe ok

What Can I do now?

Again, did you try to change some controls, especially the saturation
("Color")?

Some people also said that unsetting the autogain gave better images.
Comment 10 Rafael Gomes 2009-03-29 19:57:37 UTC
I tried, but I can't get any color.
Comment 11 Erik Andr 2009-12-30 08:50:39 UTC
Is this still an issue with a recent kernel?
