Some info about laptop battery attached, maybe it helps. It happens everytime on boot by me, not only on resumes from suspend.
It doesnt seem to happen on latest vanilla (2.6.28-rc5). But cant confirm that (short uptime).
also seems to be fixed in 2.6.27.7 can you verify, Tomas?
I will. Patch from Alexey Starikovskiy committed on November 11 seems to fix this. Bug #12004 seems to be duplicite of this one. Just compiling 2.6.27.7 vanilla to confirm. On success I will close this bug. Zdar.
No problems in 2.6.27.7. Let's close this bug. Fixed by #12004.
closing
I see this bug today on a kernel newer than the one you reported it "fixed" on. I see it on Ubuntu Intrepid, kernel version: 2.6.27-11-generic This is on a Sony Vaio laptop. 2.6.27-11-generic Re-opening.
i don't know much about ubuntu, but i would expect 2.6.27-11 to be based on 2.6.27, aka 2.6.27.0, which is older than 2.6.27.7
