Problem Description: Fails to resume

It locks up on resume before restarting X.

It did a bisect, and it stops working after patch

As that patch is also in 2.6.27, does 2.6.27.5 break for you as well?

No, 2.6.27 works fine for me (at least -gentoo-r2). so something else must have been fixed in there
