Description Slavko 2008-09-07 00:45:27 UTC
Latest working kernel version: 2.6.25-2
Earliest failing kernel version: 2.6.26-1
Distribution: Debian amd64 testing
Hardware Environment: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 5000+, 2 GB RAM, nVidia GeForce 7300 GT
Software Environment:
Problem Description: The image from the 310i (analog cable TV) is very noisy after upgrade the kernel to the 2.6.26-1 version. With kernel 2.6.25-2 image is good.

This was no better with the latest V4L driver modules from the mercurial, nor vanilla kernel. Using either tvtime, kdetv or mplayer makes no difference.

The saa7134 module is loaded with options:
options saa7134 card=101 tuner=54 alsa=0 oss=0 disable_ir=1
