Description Simon 2008-08-16 10:55:19 UTC
Distribution: Gentoo Linux
Problem Description:
My Laptop didn't shutdown, so i did an emergency sync with the sysrq-keys and switched it off manually after that, but when starting it the next time, i had to rebuild the filesystem (wait, i'll add a logfile, soon)

greets
Simon

fsck.reiser4 --build-fs

so, here's the promised logfile from rebuilding

Are you sure that emergency sync was okay?
Can you reproduce this corruption?
Comment 3 Simon 2008-08-20 04:20:59 UTC
well, i'm sorry, i should have read my kernel-logs earlier,
it helped me to remember that the laptop was a bit overheated at this time,
so i think i should check if the harddisk is physically damaged, i'll try this, and give a status after that.

thanks
Comment 4 Simon 2009-04-01 18:21:39 UTC
well, after figuring out that syncinc works and reiser4 is really stable normally, i recognised that reiser4 seemes always to crash and had to be rebuild when there's no space left on device, any suggestions on this?

thanks & greets
Simon

The problem with crash when no space left on device
was resolved long time ago. Have you encountered it
again? If yes, then please provide stack trace, if
possible.

Thanks,
Edward.
