Description Jochen Hein 2008-08-04 07:17:04 UTC
Latest working kernel version: unknown
Earliest failing kernel version: 2.6.25
Distribution: Ubuntu (hardy, now intrepid)
Hardware Environment: Thinkpad T23
Problem Description:
When displaying pictures in fbi, I get coloured vertical lines instead of the image display.
Using different bpp values does not fix the display.
Using uvesafb gives a fine display.

Steps to reproduce:
Run fbi on a jpg picture.
