Is this still happening? What version of wpa_supplicant are you using?
Hi there, yes it is still valid. I tried all versions of wpa_supplicant and also latest development, but all behaves same. It leads me to kernel problem, because all of them works with ipw2200 driver
Please attach your wpa_supplicant.conf and dmesg of ipw2200. BTW, does ipw2200 work with the AP if you configure it to open mode?
yes it works in open mode
Cijoml, please attach your wpa_supplicant.conf.
network={ ssid="myESSID" key_mgmt=WPA-PSK proto=RSN pairwise=TKIP group=TKIP psk="myverysecretpassword" }
Please attach the dmesg for ipw2200. Looks like it fails to associate for some reason.
dmesg shows normal output - I can associate with other Cisco AP without any problem. Seems like driver problem related just and only to that AP.
I'm suspicious of any problem specific to one AP -- could be any number of configuration issues, userland, etc. Do you continue to experience this problem?
yes - it is not configuration specific - if I change card it works with same config/kernel etc...
Does it work any better if you use CCMP instead?
No response from reporter. Is this bug still open?
hi there, I don't know I've sold the device to my friend with Windows with which it works. I could ask him to lend me the device to test. Michal
