Subject : kvm causing memory corruption? now 2.6.26-rc4 Submitter : Dave Hansen <dave@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Date : 2008-06-02 22:30 References : http://marc.info/?l=linux-kernel&m=121244588705277&w=4 Handled-By : Avi Kivity <avi@qumranet.com> This entry is being used for tracking a regression from 2.6.25. Please don't close it until the problem is fixed in the mainline.
BTW, I'm not sure this is a regression. I can't find a version on which it doesn't occur at all. I think it was triggered when I switched to a PAE kernel when I got more than 2GB of RAM for my laptop, not by new code in the kernel.
Removing from the list of recent regressions, thanks.
Still the case ?
Looks like this went away.
