Found the problem while researching a failure in Grub2 1.96 grub-install; grub-install calls grub-probe, which fails because it cannot find the grub enabled drive, which is /dev/hda1; /dev/hda1 is the root file system and is missing from /proc/mounts, but still exists in /etc/mtab. Virgil, there were fixes to this problem done by Miklos Szeredi which covered file system that haven't implemented this for /proc/mounts. Hopefully your case was fixed also. Can you confirm this? - thanks. bugme-daemon@bugzilla.kernel.org wrote: > http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9996 > > > protasnb@gmail.com changed: > > What |Removed |Added > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > CC| |protasnb@gmail.com > > > > > ------- Comment #2 from protasnb@gmail.com 2008-04-21 22:46 ------- > Virgil, there were fixes to this problem done by Miklos Szeredi which covered > file system that haven't implemented this for /proc/mounts.
