sorry I made a mistake in bug report: Instead of echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/online I meant echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online and also the other 3 operations on online entry were taken on cpu1 and not cpu0 Sorry again Marian, Does the problem still exist with 2.6.22-rc5? Thanks. The bug seems to be fixed now for the kernel 2.6.22 http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/linux-2.6.22.tar.bz I don't test rc kernels and I have not tested 2.6.22.3 |
