Problem Description: System works find until eventually the internal ATA 
Serial hard drive will begin to lose the file system.

This is a partial listing to highlight the issue.

Steps to reproduce:  After rebooting the system it will work fine for a while. 
It will eventually lose file system sync.

This system has a Highpoint rocketraid controller 2320 with 8 300gb hard 
drives with two raid sets at 800gb each.

I should also note that the Highpoint rocket raid is not having a problem with 
the Sata II raid file system.  The problem only happens with the Builtin Sata 
ii controller. I don't think it is the hard drive because it recovers after a 
reboot.

this issue is still valid with 2.6.19  -  Please give some input about this 
issue.  Do you have any idea what this issue may be?  I am going to replace 
the sataII drive to see if it may be a hard drive issue. 

I would appreciate any response so I know that this issue has not be routed 
to /dev/null.
