How about adding the new kernel module, which contains webcam driver gspca?
You can find it here:
http://mxhaard.free.fr/spca50x/Download/gspcav1-20060925.tar.gz .
Here's author's homepage: http://mxhaard.free.fr/index.html .
I confirm it works good with BENQ webcam based on Z-Star Microelectronics
Corp. (0ac8:0302) which is identified as ZC0302 WebCam.

Please have the driver author submit the driver the proper way (documented
in Documentation/SubmittingPatches).
Comment 2 Andrew Morton 2006-10-19 15:06:23 UTC
It's not up to us - we'd expect the author of the driver
to submit it for inclusion, if he wants to include it.

Perhaps you could encourage him to do so.

I am experiencing a kernel panic issue on my Linux system and I noticed that other users have reported similar problems on this page https://essayservice.io/ . I am not very familiar with technical details but I would like to know if there are any known solutions or workarounds to this issue. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.
