Please try the latest kernel, 2.6.16-rc6-mm1 is available now,
Comment 4 Len Brown 2006-03-22 18:47:55 UTC
did this ever work for any kernel on this system?
Comment 5 tomek.fizyk 2006-03-23 11:30:13 UTC
I don't think so. The battery wasn't detected on any system I tried - I've just
installed Debian and earlier I used Mandrake with kernel 2.6.8 and it also
didn't work
Comment 6 Vladimir Lebedev 2006-03-24 01:58:21 UTC
Please try the latest stable kernel 2.6.16, which is available on
www.kernel.org. This is needed for the next patchs using.

Hi. At last I have checked the battery with newer kernel. It works fine!
I have tried plain 2.6.16 kernel and 2.6.17-rc1. In both cases battery was detected.
Thanks for Your help and patience
