Restoring the video is the BIOS' responsibility, and it can also be handled by X. Please make sure you've got the latest BIOS. Please make usre you're running the latest version of X and have the latest driver for this adapter. There are some workarounds available, as documented in the source tree: Documentation/power/video.txt. If you've got a serial console then we can proceed with debugging the resume problem w/o video -- otherwise you're blocked on video restore. Please reopen this bug if: - it is still present in kernel 2.6.16 and - you can provide the requested information. |
