Is it because they reach a wider readership? If so, why don't you reconfigure Bugzilla to automatically CC all bug reports and comments to linux-fbdev-devel@lists.sourceforge.net ? :-) It is easy to do. with novell bugzilla for example, bugs can be marked as enhancement requests. i think this is very good, as such requests would otherwise get lost in mailinglist deepness. have seen that just too often. until there is a better place to track enhancement/change requests, i think they should go here. (that`s just my individual, personal opinion)

btw, is james active at all ? i have not seen any activity from him for a long time - neither on lkml nor bugzilla. did i miss one or is he busy with other things?
Is this feature request accepted? If yes, can I work on fixing this ? We don't really use bugzilla for feature tracking and there is no magic "acceptance" process. If you want to do something just do it ! If it works and its useful then submit it |
