Must confirm on my machine too. Some info about laptop battery attached, maybe it helps. Not tested on last vanilla, but I could do.

Comment 3 Tomas Psika 2008-11-19 06:13:42 UTC
It happens everytime on boot by me, not only on resumes from suspend.
Comment 4 Tomas Psika 2008-11-21 15:42:32 UTC
It doesnt seem to happen on latest vanilla (2.6.28-rc5). But cant confirm that (short uptime).
Comment 5 Cijoml Cijomlovic Cijomlov 2008-11-23 04:48:31 UTC
also seems to be fixed in 2.6.27.7 can you verify, Tomas?
Comment 6 Tomas Psika 2008-11-24 05:29:18 UTC
I will. Patch from Alexey Starikovskiy committed on November 11 seems to fix this. Bug #12004 seems to be duplicite of this one. Just compiling 2.6.27.7 vanilla to confirm. On success I will close this bug. Zdar.
Comment 7 Tomas Psika 2008-11-24 10:44:27 UTC
No problems in 2.6.27.7. Let's close this bug. Fixed by #12004.

closing
Comment 9 Mark Stosberg 2009-03-14 18:17:42 UTC
I see this bug today on a kernel newer than the one you reported it "fixed" on.

I see it on Ubuntu Intrepid, kernel version: 2.6.27-11-generic

This is on a Sony Vaio laptop. 2.6.27-11-generic

Re-opening.
Comment 10 Len Brown 2009-03-15 21:08:36 UTC
i don't know much about ubuntu,
but i would expect 2.6.27-11 to be based on 2.6.27, aka 2.6.27.0,
which is older than 2.6.27.7
